About Me

In many people's opinions, I'm too young to be a wife. They think I shouldn't be so willing to commit to one, single person for the rest of my life while I'm still a "baby." They think a lot of things, and not one of them includes marriage until I'm at least 30. And in any other life, I would have agreed.  But this isn't any other life, this is my life. Let me tell you a little about me:

I'm young. I'm a big sister to two little boys who are my entire world. I'm the proud 'momma' of 2 beautiful German Shepherd puppies and 2 stubborn cats. I'm the proud wife of an officer in the U.S. Army. I'm a student. I'm a friend. I'm impatient, stubborn, silly, sometimes foolish, headstrong, intelligent, easy-going. I'm opinionated, sometimes loud, not afraid to speak my mind, have no "brain-mouth" filter, and detest drama. I lived the life of a typical college student: I lived on campus, joined AROTC, skipped the occasional class, lived with roommates, made new friends, partied, met a boy, studied. I worked crappy college jobs.That life really wasn't for me.  I have big dreams: I want my PhD; I want to be a good great mom; I want to be a good great wife;
I want to be the best me possible.

So I'm young. That doesn't mean I'm incapable of thinking for myself. I've thought long and hard about every decision that has lead me to where I am today. They may not have been the decisions you would have made, but that is entirely the point: they were mine to make. I'm in my third year of classes and loving what I'm studying. I'm married to an amazing man who often understands me better than I do myself. I have dreams and goals and plans for this life and I do not intend to waste a single minute.
